Nobody Talks in Your Meetings? That’s a Red Flag

“None of us is as smart as all of us.” — Ken Blanchard

You say, “Share your ideas with us.”
Then you ignore them. Or worse, someone else presents them as their own.

The smart ones?
They stop talking.
Soon they use that same talent to look for a new job.

Listening is not just nodding.
It is saying, “I do not have the answer. You might. Let’s figure it out together.”
That is leadership. Not another training.

If no one on your team dares to speak,
it is not calm.
It is fear.
And where fear lives, truth disappears.
No truth means no future.

How can you ensure their voices are heard??

🌱 1. Foster an environment of open communication that values everyone’s opinions, regardless of their role.

🦜 2. Encourage open discussions by maintaining accessible feedback channels,  including anonymous ones  for sharing ideas and concerns.

💡 3. Act on suggestions when possible, recognize contributions, and cultivate a collaborative culture to achieve better results.
