2023. The Start of a New Era
This year signaled the start of a new era and showed us how AI will shape the future. We now have a better sense of what jobs AI can do by itself and which ones it will serve as a copilot for. ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilots became everyday names, showing how AI is now a big part of our lives. This year was just the beginning, with AI still growing fast. Each new update, like GPT-4, showed how quickly AI is advancing. It’s an exciting time, with many more amazing developments expected.
2024. My 4 Artificial Intelligence Predictions
AI is about to speed up innovation like never before. Innovation is the reason our lives have gotten so much better in the last century. Think about electricity, cars, medicine, and airplanes; innovation made them possible. Today, thanks to the IT revolution, we’re way more productive. What kind of innovations related to AI can we expect in 2024?
1. Multimodal AI in the Fashion Industry
Multimodal AI refers to artificial intelligence systems that simultaneously understand, interpret, and interact with multiple types of data inputs, such as text, images, and sounds. This technology gives AI a more comprehensive understanding of complex situations or tasks.
In 2024, Amazon, or one renowned fashion brand, is set to use multimodal AI to transform its operations. This technology will enable the brand to analyze fashion trends across different data types, including social media posts, images, and consumer behavior patterns. By doing so, it will efficiently predict upcoming trends and consumer preferences. Additionally, multimodal AI will enhance customer experiences through interactive and personalized shopping, using visual and textual data to offer tailored recommendations.
2, Siri, the Perfect Assistant on your Phone
In 2024, Siri, Apple’s assistant, is predicted to become an even more integral part of users’ daily lives. With enhanced access to user data within a strict data privacy framework, Siri will offer highly personalized assistance while prioritizing user confidentiality. Its seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem will provide a more intuitive and connected experience across all devices, making it the perfect assistant for Apple users. To gather more data to improve Siri, Apple will keep rolling out tools similar to Journal. Expect Apple to introduce a tool similar to Microsoft Loop or Notion.

This innovation enables AI processing to be 4–5 times faster on CPUs and 20–25 times faster on GPUs.
